After harvesting the remainder of the Fava beans and setting aside tomato plants for a customer, I received a call that the garden stakes I ordered were in. I originally imagined the whole tomato plot (50×64) with a complicated hanging system. The price was too much. So I looked at how larger outdoor growers managed tomatoes. That’s were I found the Florida weave or basket weave. Stakes about six foot apart and string woven, in and out, around each plant. Weave a new line of support string about every six inches up. Worked great and I’m expanding it to all of my nightshade family plants this year. When there’s a question or problem, check with those who have done it before. Turns out that there is no new thing under the sun. – Jamie 5/21/20
