There was plenty of rain last night, our power went out briefly and we awoke late. But the chickens were well, the greenhouse still standing and the sun was peeking through. It’s been a long week of clouds, cold and rain. We may still have a little more to go. It will be ok, though. We haven’t lost a baby chick in days and we are ready to open up orders for whole broiler chickens. It felt good as Audra stood outside and discussed modifications to “the plan” going forward. We can see the sunlight at the end of a rainy week. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.
