What’s better than farm fresh produce, on your plate, destined for your stomach? Better health and a stronger immune system? Flavor and feeling satisfied? How about all of that and delivered to your door?? Audra and I are working on a plan for getting the food we are growing to the people who want to eat it, within 60-70 miles. To go with the delivery will be veggie boxes and salad boxes. The box contents will be uniform and fixed for the week based on what’s ripe in the garden. The only a la carte items “From the Garden” for delivery will be seasonal fruits and melons. Pasture, Greenhouse, Kitchen, and Workshop items will be available for individual order, though. There will be a fee for delivery but we are attempting to keep it low to keep our products competitive on price. A minimum order will also be necessary for delivery. We still haven’t decided on door to door delivery or using drop sites.
We have decided to trial our delivery idea with our turkey sales. Anyone who orders a turkey is eligible for delivery. There will be no delivery charge for the trial.
