I’ve been reading articles about customers wanting smaller turkeys for Thanksgiving this year. Well, we processed our first turkey yesterday. I bought a kill cone that I was sure was too big when it arrived. Now I’m thinking I should have went with the largest size (we got the second largest size). Despite that, our turkeys are still a little undersized for what we had planned. They may catch up to our expectations in the next couple of weeks but most likely our biggest bird won’t pass 20 pounds. The hens will be in the 10 to 12 pound range with the Toms around 15 pounds. That’s good news if you’re looking for a smaller turkey this year. We’ll even deliver it to you. Check us out. Our turkeys are raised on pasture. We feed them a non-GMO diet which they supplement with grass. And they do eat grass. They’ll mow down the section of pasture they are in within 3 days. We have 16 left. Order on line with a $20 deposit and we’ll collect the rest when we deliver your turkey. Thanks. – Jamie.
