We have been extremely busy this spring with new life. We have Chicks (baby chickens), Poults (baby turkeys) and Gosslings (baby geese). This week we added a baby girl (baby human). A new life on the farm means doing things differently. We run our poultry differently now. We use our basement bathroom differently (two brooders). We use two of our chicken tractors differently (two more brooders). We are running our power cords differently. And we have new dynamics in our home and in our daily activities.
New life brings new ways of doing things, new outlooks and new possibilities. The old ones are gone. Soon we are going to be taking out some trees, opening the place up, adding a larger farm stand, putting in a new fence for a new pasture. All part our new lives.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
